SQ flies daily direct to San Francisco from 23 October

From 23 October 2016, Singapore Airlines will launch daily non-stop Singapore-San Francisco flights on the new Airbus 350-900 aircraft, and also add a second daily service to Los Angeles via Incheon Seoul. In all, Singapore Airlines will fly twice daily to both SFO and LA. The new SIN-SFO flight will have a 3-class configuration - Business, Premium Economy and Economy. Read more »

Changi’s new screening measures at T4

The operators of Singapore’s Changi Airport have announced a new approach to security screening at the new Terminal 4, slated to open in 2017. Unlike Changi’s three existing terminals, T4 will institute centralised screening for outbound passengers. The move frees passengers to shop and dine before boarding and is a departure from the current system where travellers are screened at individual gatehold rooms.
