Why I love it...

I love the combination of thrills and animals and DreamWorks characters. The park is huge and has a great atmosphere.

Favourite Ride
Tower of Terror II - Without expecting it, we blasted backwards at a speed of 200km/h and out of a tunnel. It’s one of the park’s Big 9 Thrill Rides.

Scariest Ride
The Giant Drop - It’s 39-storeys high, and it drops when you least expect it and I felt like I was falling and at the same time I was flying out of my seat!

Best Souvenir
A cute tiger plush toy - It was nice to calm down after the rides by looking at the beautiful animals. Before leaving Tiger Island, I just had to buy a cute tiger plush toy.

Top Tips
Early bird catches the ride - Make sure you get there as close to opening time as possible because the lines are huge later in the day. Also try to experience as many of the Big 9 rides as possible.

Tokyo Disneyland

Why I love it...

I loved Mickey’s PhilharMagic which was a 3-D movie that you could smell and feel as well. The night parades are the best.

Favourite Ride

Buzz Lightyear’s Astro Blasters - This ride was so cool that we went on it twice.

Scariest Ride

Big Thunder Mountain - The scariest ride I went on was Big Thunder Mountain and it made my tummy turn. I avoided the other scary-looking ones after that.

Best Souvenir

Mickey Mouse ears - You can’t go to Disneyland and not get a set of Mickey Mouse ears.

Top Tips

Popcorn and parade - Try the soy-sauce popcorn and be sure to get a good spot to watch the amazing Tokyo Disneyland Electrical Parade Dreamlights. Get a FastPass+ and then you won’t have to wait in long lines.
